  • Neurotoxins like Botox, Jeuveau and Dysport target an underlying cause of frown lines, crow’s feet and forehead lines: the repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, smiling and raising the eyebrows over the years.

Your specialist will discuss your goals and perform a facial analysis, then inject these muscles with neurotoxin to temporarily reduce muscle activity. You will notice a visible smoothing of the lines.

Some patients report that being injected with neurotoxin feels like a pinch. Your specialist may use ice to numb the treatment area, or upon request can apply a topical numbing cream before administering your treatment.

  • Treatment requires minimal downtime, so you can return to your daily routine immediately after you leave your appointment.

  • You may notice results within 24 to 48 hours, with full results in 14 days. Results last up to three-to-four months for moderate to severe frown lines. Remember that results vary from patient to patient though, so your physician will plan your next appointment based on your results and aesthetic goals.

  • Cosmetic fillers are hyaluronic acid.  Each product in the of fillers adds volume to a different area of the face — without surgery. All fillers are smooth, crystal-clear gels that are administered by injection in your aesthetic healthcare provider's office.

Different formulations are approved to either volumize cheeks, smooth parentheses lines, smooth vertical lip lines, or plump the lips. The results are subtle and long-lasting. Cosmetic fillers softens moderate to severe parentheses lines and wrinkles by adding subtle volume around the nose and mouth. Other fillers add volume to the cheek area to correct age-related volume loss, or add subtle volume to lips and soften the appearance of vertical lip lines.

  • Results may last one year to two years, with optimal treatment and depending on the formula used. Please read each product description to see how long results last with each formula, based on what was observed in clinical studies.

  • Sclerotherapy is a microinjection procedure to treat spider veins, and it is typically administered across 2-4 sessions. The procedure involves injection of a sterile solution (called a sclerosing solution) into the small veins using a very fine, thin needle. This solution irritates the vein lining, causing it to undergo fibrosis, and eventually disappear. Multiple veins can be injected at each session.

Prior to sclerotherapy, you will have an initial consultation with a dermatologist or vascular medicine specialist who will decide if you're a good candidate for the procedure.

  • A PDO (Polydioxanone) thread lift is a minimally invasive and nonsurgical procedure that uses dissolvable sutures to lift and tighten sagging skin on the face and neck. It offers an immediate lifting effect, stimulates natural collagen production for long-term improvement, and has minimal downtime compared to traditional facelifts.

The best candidates for our thread lift procedures are men and women who are showing the earliest signs of aging. Factors we consider when recommending a thread lift are:

    • Jaw prominence

    • Extent of bags or persistent puffiness under the eyes

    • Degree of sagging in the mid-face region

  • After your thread lift, the treated area may be tender, swollen, and bruised for a few days or longer, but will typically resolve on its own within a few days. Based on the extent of the thread lift, we may recommend that you rest at home for one to three days.

  • Your body makes peptides — a lot of them. Unlike proteins, peptides are smaller and more easily absorbed by the body, allowing them to play unique and beneficial roles in various cellular processes. These processes include regulating metabolism, building muscle, increasing cellular turnover, and more. Different combinations of peptides can be administered in different ways: injections, oral tablets, oral troches, nasal sprays, and topical creams or patches. Injections have the highest effectiveness, and are the fastest acting.

  • GLPs are a specific peptide that regulates blood sugar, curbs appetite, and slows digestion. GLP-1s include semaglutide, Ozempic, Wegocym Mounjaro and Victoza.

The Getaway Spa clients can receive GLP-1s administered and monitored by a medical professional. The best candidates have a BMI over 30, and/or have struggled to manage their weight through diet and exercise alone. (However, a commitment to a healthy lifestyle, including diet and exercise changes, while on GLP-1s is necessary for the best results.)
